Accessibility Statement

Last updated: September 3, 2026

We want this site to work for everyone looking for housing. That includes people who use screen readers, a keyboard alone, magnification, or captions.

Standard we build to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Here's what that means on this site:

  • Semantic HTML with correct landmarks and a single H1 per page
  • A "Skip to main content" link as the first thing you can tab to on every page
  • A visible focus outline on every link, button, and form field
  • Everything works from the keyboard, including the menu and the FAQ answers that open and close
  • Text and background colors checked for contrast
  • Descriptive alt text on informative images, and empty alt on decorative ones
  • Form fields with real labels, not placeholder text standing in for labels
  • Text that rewraps without sideways scrolling on screens as narrow as 320px

Known limitations

We don't control content embedded from other companies, including maps, so it may not meet the same standard. If a map is the barrier, call us and we'll describe the location, commute, and surroundings directly.

Getting this information another way

Every piece of information on this site is available by phone, text, or email. If a page is hard to use, you don't have to work around it. Contact us and a licensed agent will walk you through it.

Fair housing note

Accessibility features are part of the property, and we describe them the same way we describe any other unit feature. We never ask about or bring up a renter’s disability. If you need specific accessibility features in a unit, tell us which features and we'll include them in the search criteria.

Tell us what's broken

If you hit an accessibility barrier on this site, email hello@fortworthsecondchanceapartments.com with the page address and a short description of what happened. We treat these as bugs and fix them.
