Careers
We're open to licensed Texas agents and to people currently in licensing. The work is renter-side locating in a niche most general market locators avoid because it takes real research.
The work
You're matching renters carrying an eviction filing, a broken lease, rental debt, thin or damaged credit, or a background record to Tarrant County communities whose criteria already permit their file. That means knowing which properties look back three years versus seven, which management companies accept which guarantee programs, and which communities count VA disability or 1099 income.
It's more research than a standard locating desk and more conversation. It also converts better, because renters in this position have been denied enough times to value someone who checks before they apply.
What we're looking for
- A current Texas real estate license, or active enrollment in licensing
- Comfort talking plainly about evictions, balances, credit, and background history without judgment
- Willingness to research criteria properly and record the date, rather than guessing
- Ability to state costs plainly, including the ones that make a deal harder to close
- Spanish is a genuine advantage here, not a nice to have
Compensation
Commission-based, discussed at interview. We don't publish earnings figures. Implied income claims are a compliance problem and an honesty problem, and we would rather have the real conversation with you directly.
How to apply
Email us with your license status, if you're Fort Worth based, and a couple of sentences about why this niche interests you. If you've worked second chance leasing before, say where.
Sponsorship under Spirit Real Estate Group
Your license hangs with an established Texas brokerage, TREC #562021, with a broker who answers for the work.
In-house warm leads
Renters who found us searching for their exact barrier and already told us what's on their record. No cold calling, no bought lists.
Hybrid or remote
The research and intake work is location-independent. Tours aren't. You need to be able to get around Tarrant County.
Real training on the niche
Screening criteria, guarantor and deposit alternative programs, HUD individualized assessment, voucher administration across three agencies, and SB 38 timelines.
